Karen Lupton's clear tone and engaging style are the hallmarks of her performances. Karen is passionate about connecting to audiences through the power of live performance, whether as a soloist or chorister. Her recitals in recent years have garnered her national acclaim, as she was named runner-up for The American Prize in Vocal Performance for Art Song, 2011.
In 2012, she performed Lester Trimble's Four Fragments from the Canterbury Tales with the Dolce Chamber Orchestra of Atlanta, and sang as part of an emerging chamber choir, Coro Vocati. That same year, Karen also presented a third joint recital with her professional friends, entitled Panoply of Song.
Moving into 2013, Karen has already performed a solo recital in Atlanta, where she presented oratorio works of Handel, Faure and Haydn, as well as art songs from Gerald Finzi, Ricky Ian Gordon, and Peter Mathews and Debussy.
